Programme Description

(Learn this 5-step thinking process designed help provide a systemic process of problem-solving behavioural challenges in Autistic Children in the Early Intervention Programme)

Every encounter with challenging behavior is a distressing one, especially for the individual faced with the behavior(s).

While professionals are often left feeling frustrated and ill-equipped, many such behaviors are often an expression of unmet needs for the autistic young children.

Every encounter can be used as an opportunity for us to learn more about the autistic young children and help professionals improve their skills to provide better support.

The “Ice-Berg Thinking Steps” is a 5-step thinking process, designed to empower you with a systematic process of problem solving these behavioral challenges.

With 3 sessions conducted 2 weeks apart, this allows participants to implement the strategies discussed, ascertain its effectiveness and review in subsequent sessions for further improvement.

Session 1: 01 July 2021 – Presentation of the Iceberg Thinking Steps process through an interactive lecture (using a case study).
